It's a beautiful area. There are loads of shops & a small amusement park in the area in addition to the temples. Photo 1 is me by the entrance to the area. The walk to the temple from the entrance is kinda a tourist trap, but it's fun just exploring all the stuff available.
In front of the main temple is a giant pot of incense (photo 2) that you breathe in and a fountain of holy water for lack of a better term to drink from (photo 3). Inside the temple for 100 yen, you can make a wish, shake the box, get stick that comes out, and find the corresponding note. I tried it and got a good fortune!
